When you drop into the new Cold Snap update for ARC Raiders, it hits you straight away that this is not just another festive reskin. The whole place feels heavier, slower, like the game is pushing back against you while you chase better ARC Raiders Items in the storm. You try to sprint across a field and your character sinks into the snow, losing that clean, snappy movement you were used to. The terrain has its own kind of attitude in this update. Routes you took for granted are buried under snowdrifts, forcing you to improvise new paths while you are already under pressure. You learn pretty fast that standing still is just asking to get frozen and picked off. Frostbite creeps in if you stay out in the open too long, quietly shaving health away while you are distracted with fights or loot. It turns movement into a small puzzle every time: dash from cover to cover, duck into sheltered spots, and juggle your resources so you are not freezing while trying to hold an angle.


Pressure From Seasonal Quests
The seasonal quests push you into the roughest parts of the storm, where visibility, cold and enemy traffic all pile up at once.
